Torqueleader In Partnership with
The Royal Mail

Torqueleader are delighted to have been invited by the Royal Mail to supply and install Torque calibration equipment at six of their vehicle maintenance sites across the UK. Each location carries a number of Torque Wrenches for maintaining their fleet of vans and trucks.
Following extensive reviews by the Royal Mail it was decided that recalibration of these Torque Wrenches should be carried out “in house” allowing the Royal Mail to make a saving of around £90,000 per year in external calibration charges, which has been an ongoing year on year cost.
The product chosen after review was the Torqueleader “ET.Cal Torque Analyser.
This system comprises of two bench mounted transducers offering a combined calibration range of 4 – 1000 Nm. These units will be transported between various servicing locations every three months, ensuring all Torque Wrenches in use across the Royal Mails maintenance sites maintain their accuracy.
Installation included full onsite training for Royal Mail calibration staff, carried out by a Torqueleader Engineer and the introduction of an information logging system allowing conformity to the ISO 6789:2003 standard.
